Why is it that every time the 'old newspaper' truck passes by the neighbourhood...dogs start to howl?
I mean,is it just me or is it true that there's a distinctive pattern in these dog howling?
Is there some sort of creepy message that come from that "old newspaper,sai tau po chi,surat khabar lama" tune??(another question: how come they don't mention in it Tamil??) Or do they mention it in your neighbourhood maybe?
Is it a kind of melody that dogs react to?i don't remember hearing cats purring.But the dogs go frantic when the truck passes by.
I think there has to be an explanation because it happens EVERY TIME.

but the dogs in my neighbourhood howl at anything - roti man, putu mayam man, old newspaper man, postman, bas sekolah, me, yeah - everything.

oh i know why the dogs make noise. cos his (the dude who's yelling old newspaper) tone of voice sounds intimidating and annoying. seriously, when i was a kid i was like what the hell is that noise?????? i hated it. especially when they disturbed my sleep (ALL THE DAMN TIME). ERGH. they should get George Clooney or BETTER Mr. Mah to do the voiceover for this shit. I'm sure the dogs wont bark. hehe.
